As another school year approaches, Catholic Memorial has once again enhanced the student transportation system for the 2008/09 school year. CM continues to focus on optimizing efficiency to provide increased transportation access to the CM student population.
Vendor: CM will continue to work with Local Motion of Boston to provide transportation services for the 2008/09 school year. Local Motion provided high quality vehicles and professional drivers during their inaugural year of service.
Cost: The cost of CM Round Trip Transportation service will be $1,250. Round trip payment includes Late Bus service. One way service is $750.
Single Ride: Students needing periodic transportation service will pay for a $10 single ride ticket.
Late Bus: CM will offer a shuttle service to four commuter rail stations. The Late Bus will leave Baker Street at 5:15pm. Late Bus service will be available daily throughout the school year. The CM cafeteria will remain open as a study hall and supervised by CM faculty until the late bus leaves.
NEW Route 109 Bus: Catholic Memorial has added a route that will be a shared resource with Fontbonne Academy.
As stated in the CM Parent/Student Handbook, Catholic Memorial Rules of Conduct are enforceable en route. Any students breaking these rules will be disciplined by CM. CM reserves the right to refuse service to students who violate the Rules of Conduct. Families will not be granted refunds for students removed from the CM transportation System.
CM Transportation Passes will be handed out to students during orientation week. CM will charge a $10 replacement fee for lost Transportation Passes. For Late Bus Service, students with Transportation Passes will sign up for the Late Bus in the Main Office during the day, first come, first served. Students without Transportation Passes can purchase single ride tickets in the cafeteria after school for $10, if available.
One way passengers who use morning transportation will be charged the single ride $10 fee for afternoon service. Students will pay cash for this service. Tickets will be available in the Dean of Students Office.
