Today Catholic Memorial’s faculty participated in a productive and thoughtful professional day with educational partners from Brookline-based Facing History and Ourselves and Norwood-based EXPLO.
English and history faculty worked with Facing History to develop best practices for fostering civil discourse in classroom conversations, and building on its existing partnership with CM, EXPLO ran a hands-on workshop in the Academic Resource Center with the remainder of the faculty that focused on linking disciplines through project-based learning.
CM’s Academic and College Counseling Office discussed best practices in whole-student development and reviewed our Beyond CM program. Catholic Memorial is committed to pursuing excellence in all that we do.
