Welcome Adam Pascal!

In May, CM announced the appointment of Adam Pascal as its new lacrosse coach. An appointment that has many excited about what can happen to a rising program that under the tutelage of Coach Brian Powers grew steadily during his tenure. Now it’s time for CM lacrosse to take another step and become a dominant force.

 

As CM’s Athletic Director, Thomas Claiborne said about his new hire, “The goal was to identify a leader who would take the lacrosse program to the next level of excellence and who aligns with the school’s overall mission. One candidate shone brightly and that was Adam.”

 

Pascal graduated from The Hotchkiss School, where he was named NE Class A Football Player of the Year and an All-American in Lacrosse. He continued his education at Middlebury College, where he excelled as a two-sport athlete and received his degree in American Civilization in 1999. While a Panther, he competed all four years as a member of the football and lacrosse teams, and in lacrosse, he earned three NCAA Tournament scoring records, two-time All-American honors, and played in the Division III National championship game. Coach Pascal was a first-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bandits but decided to start his college coaching career instead. He has been fortunate to be on the coaching staffs at Nazareth College, Harvard University, Williams College, and Babson College. At Holy Cross, he was the country's youngest Division I Head Coach where he coached seven seasons and was awarded New England Coach of the Year in 2008. He was also an assistant coach at Wellesley High School and has coached many Laxachusetts teams.

 

Pascal inherits an up-and-coming team who have posted two winning seasons in 2022 and ’23: 11-7 and 14-5 respectively, while making it to the second round of the play-offs in both seasons.

Along the way, players have earned All-Scholastic distinctions in the Boston media that only embellishes the program’s reputation as a rising force. It all bodes well for the spring 2025 season. Welcome Adam Pascal and good luck!
